The department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day webinar on “Innovation in Engineering” on 3rd April, 2021. Ms.M.Sneha, Third Year B.Tech/IT welcomed the 2nd , 3rd and final year students of the department of Information Technology. Dr.M.Premkumar Principal, Paavai Engineering College, motivated the students to learn, innovate and discover new things oriented to Industrial or Educational field.Mr.A.Mohamed Rilwan, third year B.Tech/IT introduced the chief guest. Mr. R.Rajkumar. Assistant Professor, Department Computer Science and Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai to the students. During the session he enlightened the difference between innovation and discovery. He explained on how education 5.0 will meet the need of industry 5.0. He briefed about the futuristic technologies like IOT with machine learning, brain computing interface. He finally gave information about drafting and filing a patent.The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.N.Abinas, Third Year B.Tech/IT. The webinar helped the students as well as staff in understanding about the new innovative things. The session was very informative and interesting.
