On behalf of Department of physics, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day Student Development Academic webinar on “Novel Engineering materials and their Applications” on 09thJuly, 2021. Ms.G.U.Nakshatra First Year Chemical Engineering, Paavai Engineering College welcomed gathered the webinar. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his presidential address on the occasion. He addressed that, development latest technologies and its daily uses. Dr.S.Vadivel Head of the Department organized a wonderful session and gave the informative talk about the Recent Trends in Engineering. Prof.M.Mohan, Professor & Head, Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest and gave overview of the importance of Nano technology. Dr.R.Kesavasamy, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering college, Coimbatore, was the guest of the honor. He explained in his presentation about the Novel materials – Metallic Glasses and shape memory alloys. Also explained elegantly the method of preparation of nanoparticle and Nano fiber. He showed applications of Novel materials with video. Faculty members and students animatedly participated in the program. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.V.Vijayakumar first Year Pharmaceutical Technology. The session was very informative and motivating to all the students.
