Paavai Engineering College organized a one-day National level technical symposium “TECHFINIX” on 27th August 2021through Microsoft Teams. Mr.JayaKrishnan Appusamy, SBU Head-MLEU-AI and Analytics, Community Lead-GCP, Centre Head, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Coimbatore was the chief guest. The welcome address was delivered by Director Administration, Paavai Institutions. The Chairman, Paavai Institutions delivered the presidential address. In his address, he stressed the need for holistic development for the growth of the students. Students should be highly responsible citizens and equip themselves with the latest technologies. He also added these symposiums will act as a platform to expose students’ skills. He also discussed the importance of online courses and asked the students to focus on employability skills required by the industry.
Ms.S.Dayasri, Final year student from Aeronautical department introduced the Chief guest. Followed with it, the Chief guest gave his inaugural address. In his address, he stated that engineers form the backbone in exploring new ideas and they form the wheel of new technology. Lot of opportunities are available for today’s engineers. He explained the openings available in various engineering sectors such as Automation, Robotics, IT and so on. He also added that engineers make our life easy and simple with their innovations and creativity.
Ms.M.Risheeba from third year Electrical and Electronics Engineering gave the prelude to “TECHFINIX” 21.More than 350 plus registrations across the state from various colleges were received. Many events like Tech unwrap, Comma say Comma, Be intellect to find me, tool finder, project simulation in tinder card, brain fest, drive in web, project expo, technical hunt, photography, quiz, connextion, chem fiesta, just roll to open flair and mind battle were a part of the symposium. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal Paavai Engineering College.
