“NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL DAY – 2021” to celebrate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Azad through the Microsoft team’s platform on 11.11.2021from 10.30 a.m.to 12.30 p.m. Smt.Abinaya Shanmuga Sundaram, Skill Development and Language Trainer, Bright Sparks Academy, Erode was the guest speaker.
The welcome address was delivered by B.B.Sathya, a third-year student of the Information and Technology Department. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director, Paavai Institutions gave his presidential address. In his address, he emphasized the importance of organizing such programmes is to create awareness among the students regarding the quality of education, improvement in the literacy rate, to know about the New Educational policies given to them and to pay tribute to all the great contributions made by Maulana Abdul Azad in the field of the education system. K.Paveena from the third year IT introduced the resource speaker.
The session was continued with the resource person. In her address, she discussed that synergy and the spark that must be with every student to come up in life. She also explained the significance and importance of National Education Day. She also discussed Maulana Abdul Azad’s significant contributions. She explained about National Policy on Education. She stressed that education provides stability, financial security and a lot more. She also stressed the students realize their dreams, work hard and be highly confident to achieve success in life. The literacy rate is increasing over the years and she also elucidated about the Global literacy rate. She also insisted that self-introspection is the need of the hour. On a final note, she played a motivational video regarding education.
Dr.K.Sundara Murthy, Vice President of IIC, Professor of Mechanical, Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Convener of IIC, Associate Professor of ECE, Mr.S.Sathish, event organiser, Assistant Professor of ECE along with faculty members, internal and external participants were also present in the meeting. Followed with the online session, two events slogan writing and Essay writing were conducted in the Main building seminar Hall. Around 70 students participated in these events.
