The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering had organized an online Alumni Guest Lecture on “ART OF SUCCESS MANTRAS” on 22nd November 2021 at 10.30 a.m. through the Microsoft Teams platform. Ms.G.Janani Bai, Lead of the Process, Ocwen Financial Solutions, Mumbai was the Alumni speaker. The welcome address was given by Yuva bharathi from final year ECE and Sretharessene, from third-year ECE, introduced the Alumni speaker.
Principal sir addressed the students stating that Alumni are supporting our institutions from their experiences, so students are made aware of the different technologies in the market. They should also use such opportunities to enhance their knowledge and survive in society as an engineer. The alumna explained that “Oral communication” plays a vital role and students should interact with people without any hesitation. She also insisted that students should select their project domain based on their career path. She also added personality development and believing in oneself are the essential qualities that everyone must possess. In addition, she also insisted that “Dream Big -Set Goal” and constant updations of the individual profile are required. She also clarified the queries posted by the students at the end of the session.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by K.Sowmiya from third-year ECE. Dr.M.Sudha, Professor and Head, ECE, Mrs.Renukadevi , Alumni Association coordinator, Mr.S.Sathish, Department Alumni Coordinator, Faculty members and 112 students were present in the meeting. As per the feedback received from the students, it was very useful for placement and skills development.
