The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Paavai Engineering College has organized an online webinar on “National Energy Conservation Day (India)” Online Webinar on Conservation Energy Save the Future” through the Microsoft team’s platform on 14.12.2021 from 06.30 p.m. to 07.30 p.m.
The Event started with a welcome address by Komaraprasad and MC was Done by M.Iniya, a second-year student of the Electrical and Electonics Engineering Department.
The session continued with the resource person talk. National energy conservation day is celebrated every year using particular theme of the year by keeping in mind some goals and objectives to make more effective all over the country among people. Some of the important goals are : It is celebrated to send the message of importance of conserving energy in the every walk of life among people. Promoting the way of process of energy conservation by organizing a lot of events such as discussions, conferences, debates, workshops, competitions and etc all through the country. Promote people for less energy usage by neglecting the excessive and wasteful uses. Encourage people for efficient energy use in order to decrease the energy consumption and prevent the energy loss.
Dr.K.SundaraMurthy, Vice President of IIC, Professor of Mechanical, Dr.R.Mohan Priya, Convener of IIC, Associate professor of ECE and, Dr.G.Balaji, Head of Department EEE, Mr.S.Ramachdran & Mr.G.Deivamani, event organiser, Assistant Professor of Electrical, along with faculty members, internal and external participants were also present in the meeting. The Event Ended with Vote of Thanks by V.Dachanamoorthy , a second-year student of the Electrical and Electonics Engineering Department.
