The seminar was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Institution Innovation Council of Paavai Engineering College on 30.12.2021 from 11.00a.m to 1.00p.m. It started with a Prayer song followed with welcome address by S.Kishore from final year Civil. Followed with it, the presidential address was by Dr.M.PremKumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering. The chief guest introduction was given by S.U.Sushmaa from final year Civil. The Keynote address was given by Mr.V.A.Rajendran, Regional Manager, TIIC. In his address, he shared his experiences working with different entrepreneurs and his support for them through TIIC. He motivated the students through the success stories of many entrepreneurs and the risks which they undertook during their tenure. He encouraged the students that we are “BORN to WIN” and always be positive minded to face the obstacles in life with confidence. He also added “Do and Die” should be motto rather than Do or Die. He also explained the various schemes and funds provided by TIIC for young entrepreneurs. He insisted the students to be Job creators rather than job seekers. Then the students posted few queries and it was addressed by the resource speaker. The session ended with vote of thanks by R.Surya from third year Civil. Around 100 students, faculty coordinators of IIC and EDC participated in the event and the students were highly motivated after the session.
