The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with Paavai Association of Communication Engineers had organized a webinar on“ENERGY OPTIMIZATION IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS”on 03thJune 2022 at 03.00 p.m.through the Microsoft Teams platform. Ms.M.Kanthimathi, Associate Professor,ECE, Sri Sairam Engineering College was the resource speaker.The welcome address was given by Dr.S.VijayaKumar and S.Sreetherassene from third year ECE introduced the speaker.
The resource speaker explained about the concepts of wireless sensor networks. Followed with it, she explained about the various algorithms involved in optimization of sensor networks. She elucidated about the different modulation schemes involved and optimal spatial modulation. She also explained about energy efficiency and network lifetime parameters.The outcome of the event was, students had an overview about Energy Optimization in Wireless Sensor Networks and the various concepts involved.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Sivadharshini from third-year ECE.Dr.M.Sudha, Professor and Head, ECE,Dr.R.MohanaPriya,Associate Professor,ECE,Mr.S.Loganathan,Assistant Professor,ECE – Association coordinators, faculty members and around 80 students were present in the meeting.
