The department of MCA in association with Institution’s Innovation Council organized an online webinar on “Critical and Design Thinking”on 18th August 2022. Dr. R.Gandhiramasamy, Technical Advisor, Raga Technologies, Coimbatore was the resource speaker. The function started on a divine note. Ms.A.Sowmiya from MCA welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Mr.S.Senthil Velan, Associate Professor, Paavai Engineering College.
The chief guest, Dr. R.Gandhiramasamy, in his keynote address, motivated the students regarding the basics of entrepreneurship and the different ways to get 100% self-employment. He briefed the students about his startup company Raga Technologies started in 2019 and how to design the battery vehicle and their demands in future (2025-2030). He explained in detail about the process steps in finding the new product using IIOT – Industrial Internet of Things and MM – Machine to Machine. Then, he narrated on product for battery vehicle i.e., Dashboard. Dashboard indicates the battery energy and also how many KMs it will cover. He also explained the important steps for new innovators, one prototype model for any one of the demandable areas such as AI, Battery Vehicle, Chemical Model and Food Technology,second – altering that product to business model and then how the product can be GOOGLE patented.He also explained the IIOT model based Electric Tractor. The sessions were highly interactive and the queries of the students were clearly clarified by the resource person. The students and staff members were able to understand the concept of Critical and Design thinking
The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. M. Gowsika.Heads of various departments and faculty members participated in the webinar program. Students from MCA department and staff members actively participated with full zeal and were benefited by this program.
