Indian Society For Technical Education (ISTE) and Department of Information Technology , Paavai Engineering College jointly organized a one-day Guest Lecture on “Conceptual developments in Information system engineering from 1990s to 2020s- Hints and Choices for your progression in Industrial Practice or Academia” on Engineer’s Day Celebrations for the benefit of students on 15.09.2022 at Kalams Chamber. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he motivated the students to participate more in activities and he encouraged and supported the students to think in a different way to achieve their goals in life. Dr.D.Venkatesan, Professor/IT, BIT Campus, Anna University, Trichy is a Chief Guest. He explained briefly about the conceptual developments and principles of Engineering in the Information system. He also elaborated about the conceptual developments in system engineering and its subcategories as entrepreneurship, technology , requirements, products , product architecture and much more. The Chief-Guest clearly answered all the queries raised by the students in the interaction session.
Earlier, Ms.S.Devadharshini of third IT welcomed the gathering. Faculty members and the students actively participated in the programme and made it a grand success. 250 participants were really benefitted by the guest lecture. In the end Ms.N.Reena of second year IT proposed the Vote of Thanks.
