Industrial Visits help students become well-acquainted with real working environments. Industrial Visits generate excitement among students as they get opportunity to learn something outside the boundary of their college walls, towards this, The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Energy Club of Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized an industrial visit to Mettur Thermal Power Station-I located in the Salem district for our Final Year Students on 01.10.22(Saturday). Fifty-four students of seventh semester Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch who were accompanied by four faculty members took part in the visit.
This visit gave an excellent opportunity for the visiting students to learn things practically in a real-time functional environment through interactions, witnessing the working methods and clarifying their doubts with experienced engineers of the Mettur Thermal Power Station-I.
Industrial Visit was coordinated by Dr.G.Balaji (Head-EEE) and Mr.V.Kumarakrishnan (AP/EEE).
