Department of Civil Engineering jointly with Environmental club of Paavai Engineering College organized an event “Awareness on Traffic Pollution” on 23.11.2022 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. as a part of club activity.
The main aim of this event is to promote awareness among public about Traffic pollution and its impact on Environment. We have issued the notice to the public regarding control measures to be undertaken by each individual to control Traffic Pollution. Students of Civil Engineering Department insisted about the Impacts of Air and Noise pollution, also created the awareness to the public from nearby villages such as Pachal, Pudhuchatram village and Andagalur Gate. Total of 30 students were involved along with 2 Faculty members of Civil Engineering Department.
More than 300 public were gained knowledge about the major impacts of Traffic pollution in Environment. Finally our one day awareness event was successfully completed.
