The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers,(Erode Local centre), organized an Hands- on Training – “PCB Design and its Applications” from 28.11.2022 to 29.11.2022. It was aimed at disseminating knowledge to students about the role of electronics engineers in the PCB Design. The welcome address was given by Dr. M. Sudha (Professor & Head, ECE), Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal gave the presidential address. Ms.Mahalakshmi, from second year ECE introduced the resource speaker. MrR.S.Jothiprasanth, Technical Engineer, Enthus Technology Solution India PVT Ltd. Coimbatore.
In his address, he started workshop with the topic – Basic Electronic components and explained about different types of components. He also discussed the topics of SMD Package type. He also explained terminology and PCB design flow. The students were able to acquaint themselves with the exposure to latest technologies and project development. Around 108 members participated in the onsite workshop. Queries were posted and it was clarified by the resource speaker.
