The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized a webinar to celebrate “National Startup Day” on 16.01.2023. The objective of the webinar was to celebrate and stress the importance of National Start-up Day. Mr.Yuvaresh Chandrasekaran, Founder and CEO – FUINN Tech, Founder and COO – MNMarketzy Solutions, Chennai was the resource speaker.
In his address, he elucidated the different ways to identify the ideas to start a business. He also explained about the four steps for any business or start-up like Idea generation, expansion, selection and feasibility. He also explained the hurdles which he came across while initiating his startups. He insisted the participants to be mentally and emotionally strong to start and run a business. He also added that a trusted partnership is the foundation for any successful startup. He explained the creative problem solving techniques to take challenges and to find ideas that are new, useful and meaningful. He clarified the queries posted by the resource person. Around 350 members participated and speaker. The welcome address and vote of thanks was given by Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Convener of IIC. Dr.K.Sundaramurthy, Vice President, IIC, Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Convener, IIC, Dr.P.Pugalenthi, EDC Coordinator and various department IIC faculty and student coordinators attended the online event.
