The Constructors Club, Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized Non-Technical events “Tale potent and Blind spot” on 18.04.2023 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. as a part of club activity.
In this event, total number of 70 students of II, III and IV year from all Engineering departments has participated.
In Tale potent event, total numbers of 17 (3 members per team) student teams of II, III and IV year from various departments have participated. It is a story making event, we had given set of 2 images to each team to convey their content within the time limit of 2-3 minutes. At the end of this event, students will be able to enhance their communication and logical skills with creative thinking and effective content delivery.Top 2 teams were awarded with certificates. Safafareen III/Biomedical, B.Dharani III/ECE and M.Mukila III/Biomedical won 1st place and R.Janani II/EEE, M.Kavipriya II/EEE, S.Nathiya II/EEE and A.Nisha II/EEE won 2nd place.
In Blind spot event, total numbers of 23 (3 members per team) student teams of II, III and IV year from various departments have participated. It is touch and identify event, in which students were given a collection of materials for this activity, and they should use their blindfolds before identifying the materials within the time limit of 5 minutes. At the end of this event, students were learnt about Time management and critical thinking. Top 2 teams were awarded with certificates. A.Mohammed Sulthan and M.Arivoli III/Biomedical won 1st place and R.Janani and A.Nisha III/Biomedical Engineering won 2nd place.
