The Department of Physics, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day Student webinar on OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICES AND APPLICATIONS on 27th June, 2023. The webinar Programme was organized by Professor & Head of the Department Mrs.S.Kavitha and coordinated by Prof.Mr.R.Dhananchezian, Dr.T.Prakash and Mrs. T.Vysnavi along with faculty members. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his Presidential Address on the occasion. Prof.Mr.S.Dinakaran, Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest Dr.K.Sadasivam, Professor, Department of Physics, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Erode and Ms. Nandhini First year CSE AI & ML, Paavai Engineering College welcomed the gathering. After that the floor was handed over to the chief guest. He shared his knowledge on Optoelectronic devices and explained briefly about different applications in optoelectronic devices. He also extended his speech on LED and Laser diode. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened to the participants for interactions. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Subaranjanamani from first Year/ECE. Thanks to our Management, Director-Admin, Principal and Staff members for their support and to make the event a very successful one.
