The Launch of Campus to Career Programme was organized by Paavai Engineering College and CII-IWN on 05.08.2023. The Programme started in the presence of Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions, Guests Ms. Rajalakshmi, Chair, IWN-TN, Ms. Dilshad Azim, Senior Learning Partner, Grundfos Pump & Lead C2C Vertical, Mr. Swaminathan, Senior Partner, Pfizer R&D, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, Smt.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Student Affairs, Paavai Institutions, along with the principals of Paavai Institutions and students of all the Colleges of Paavai Institutions.
Smt.Avanthi Natarajan, Director-Student Affairs, Paavai Institutions, welcomed the gathering Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over function and delivered the presidential address. In his address, he stated that this pioneer programme will help the students with their confidence to face interviews and in becoming entrepreneurs too. He insisted the students to get involved and have a participative discussion throughout the session.
Ms. Rajalakshmi, Chair, IWN-TN briefly explained the setting of the Context about CII-IWN and insisted on the ways to move ahead in this world as a women. She warned the students that the road to success is paved through challenges and she also gave them tips to overcome those challenges. She stated about the mentoring system associated with CII-IWN and encouraged the students to dream big. She concluded by saying “Gender is not a limitation but a source”.
Ms. Dilshad Azim, Senior Learning Partner, Grundfos Pump & Lead C2C Vertical gave an introduction on C2C (Campus to Career). She expressed her gratitude and then explained the modules that will be taken care of in this C2C sessions. She emphasised on how women will have to face different stages of life and how each one of us should be ready to face it fearlessly.
The sessions on Resume Building & Are you interview ready? Was taken over by Mr. Swaminathan. The students interacted and cleared their doubts on the topic. Followed by the session on Goal setting by Ms. Dilshad Azim. The students learnt many tips and insights during the session. It was overall a constructive session.
