An Alumni Guest Lecture on the topic “Career Opportunities and Industry Expectations” was organized through online by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering on 09/09/2023 from 02.00 PM To 03.30 PM online. Mr.P.Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Engineer, Axiscades Technology Ltd, Banglore-560024 was the Alumni Speaker. The Welcome address and chief guest introduction was delivered by S.Dharshini, student of Third Year Aeronautical Engineering.
In his address Mr.P.Dinesh Kumar explained about the scope of aerospace field and the expectations of various public and private sectors companies present in the country. He also listed the skills demanded by the industry and how to acquire them. The guest also shared his experience in working on the assembly of PSLV rocket outer structure. Around 50 participants attended the online alumni guest lecture. Queries were asked and it was clarified by the resource speakers.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by K.C.Jayanth of Third Year Aeronautical Engineering. The event was convened by Professor & Head, Dr.R.Arravind and Co-ordinated by Assistant Professor Mr.K.Gokulnath.
