The department of Cyber Security has organized a webinar on “Mobile Commerce Application Security and its Solutions” on 04 September 2023 between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, through Microsoft Teams platform. The lecture was given by Dr. C. Ganesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Communication Engineering, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore.
Dr. T. Loganayagi chaired the session and delivered welcome address. S. Durgadevi, student of third year cyber security introduced the resource speaker Dr. C. Ganesh.
Dr. C. Ganesh delivered the lecture on mobile commerce application security and its solutions. He explained the concept of M-commerce, its applications, initiatives, Challenges in M-commerce and various attacks encountered. He also discussed scenario of M-commerce in India, advantages, applications, security mechanism and security solutions.
As a part of this webinar an online quiz also conducted by Dr. C. Ganesh, in which the students were actively participated. Dr. C. Ganesh praised the winners who received first three positions.
We received good response from the participants and also they gave very good feedback. The resource person thanked the organizers for arranging the live webinar. At the end of the webinar Dr. T. Loganayagi, Professor delivered the vote of thanks. She thanked the Resource person, Management, Director – Admin, Principal, Dean, HoD (Cyber Security), faculty members and participants for their active support for making the programme to be successful.
