A one day Technical Seminar on the title “Pave your path from Major to Meaningful work” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with Paavai Civil Engineering Association, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) on 13.09.2023. Ms.R.Sharumathi, Final year student welcomed the gathering. Prof.K.Sharmiladevi, Head of the Department, Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai Engineering College delivered her presidential address on this event, she elaborated to students about the path ways to success. Ms.P.N.Thenswetha, Final year student introduced the speaker.
Er.S.Sagayaraj, Former Special Chief Engineer, Tamilnadu PWD was the resource speaker. He briefed about impacts of Emotional Intelligence and suggested versatile books for the betterment of students. He also revolutionized the concept of job hunting through book “What color is your parachute?”. At the end of this seminar, the students have gained knowledge about various opportunities in Civil Engineering and about job hunting.
Prof.K.Sharmiladevi, HoD/Civil, Ms.S.Gayathri, AP/Civil and Mr.P.Vignesh, AP/Civil Faculty coordinators along with faculty members, and around 45 participants were present in Seminar.
Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.V.Dharani, Final year student and our one day Seminar was successfully concluded. The session was very interactive and knowledgeable.
