A design software workshop by the title ‘DESIGN NOW” was hosted and organized by Paavai Engineeing College and supported by ICT ACADEMY for the students of Mechanical Enigneering department on 05.11.2022. In the full day training session, Fusion 360 software was taught to the stuents with hands-on practice. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling, CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB software platform for professional product design and manufacturing, developed by Autodesk.
In the inaugural function of the workshop, Dr.M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, Mr.V.Prabu, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy and his team, Mr.N. Mohan Murali, Expert Trainer from Autodesk, Dr.A.P.Sivasubramaniam, Head of the Mechanical Engineering department and faculty members took part along with the students. Our final year Mechanical Engineering student, N.Selvaprabu welcomed the gathering and introduced the expert trainer.
The principal in his falicitation address told that software skill of the relevant field had become essential for students to secure good jobs.
