On behalf of Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), the Department of Aeronautical Engineering in association with Jet Aerospace Aviation Research Center has organized a Five Days Nurture program supported by Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi on the topic ‘Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Training Program’ in the field of Drone Technology at Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous). The training was given by 12 members of the team from Jet Aerospace lead by N.Gayathiri, Senior Researcher. From the training the students understood the flying Concept of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and they also had the Hands-on experience of Drone Operation and Glider making. Paavai sister institutions Principal, Head of various Department, Faculty members and the students from Paavai Polytechnique, Paavai College of Engineering attended the five days training program. Totally 200 members attended the training. On 19.01.2024 at inaugural function, the welcome address was delivered by Mr.G.Sasi AP/Aero, Chief guest introduction was given by Elakkiya.S III/Aero, Presidential address was given by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy of Director Administration Paavai group of Institutions, the key note address was delivered by Mr.A.Vivekanadhan from Jet Aerospace, Dr.M.Premkumar Principal of Paavai Engineering College graced the occasion with his speech about the Drone Development. On 24.01.2024 at the valedictory function Dr.R.Arravind Head of the Aeronautical Department and students from various sister institutions and Trainers from Jet Aerospace had given their positive feedback on the Training Program, Finally the program was ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.D.Rajkumar AP/Aero the MC was taken care by Kokila III/Aero and the training was equally coordinated by the Faculty members of Aeronautical Department.
