Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized an MoU signing ceremony with the Crescent Innovation Incubation Council on January 31, 2024. Shri CA.N.V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Institutions, presided over the ceremony and stressed the importance of the incubation center to the students. Dr.Parvez Alam, Executive Director, Crescent Innovation Incubation Council, Chennai, was the guest speaker, and Dr.Nisha Mukund, CEO, Crescent Innovation Incubation Council, Chennai, was the guest of honor. In his speech, he focused on the importance of an innovation incubator that supports new businesses, ideas, and ventures. These programs provide resources such as funding, workspace, mentorship, and training to help entrepreneurs and innovators get their projects off the ground. He also enlightened that through incubation, students can involve themselves in piloting new projects as part of existing delivery, or it may be a brand new project following a student identifying a particular social or environmental need.
The MoU was signed mutually between Crescent Innovation Incubation Council and Paavai Engineering College to promote and interact, incubating novel technology and business ideas, and offering professional services.
During the MoU ceremony, students showcased their innovative products, engaging in interactive sessions to exchange ideas and plan enhancements for further development.
The correspondent, director of administration, principal, deans, heads, faculty members, and students of Paavai Engineering College were present at the function.
The program was organized by Professor Dr. I. Rajendran, Dean/Research & Innovation, and coordinated by Dr. G. Balaji, Head/EEE.
Ms. J. Safa Faren, Final Year BME, welcomed the gathering; Ms. V. Shanmathi, Final Year ECE, introduced the chief guest; and Mr. V. Roshankumar, Final Year BME, proposed the vote of thanks.
