The Department of MBA organized a Five day Faculty Development Programme titled “Innovative Entrepreneurship and Start-up Ecosystem” from 06.05.24 to 10.05.2024 in association with Institution’s Innovation Council through online mode.
In the inaugural session the welcome address was given by Ms.Jayapreethi, Department of Management Studies and Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College felicitated the gathering. Ms. Abirami of MBA, introduced the chief guest.
Day 1: 06.05.2024
Dr.V. Subburam, Professor, Department Of Mechanical Engineering, Paavai Engineering College was the resource speaker. Ms. Abirami of MBA, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture he explained about the benefits, importance of Entrepreneurship, necessary of business plan and its components.
Day 2: 07.05.2024
Dr.A.G.V. Narayanan, Director, Janson’s School of Business, Coimbatore was the resource speaker. Ms. Abirami of MBA, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture, he elucidate about the Start-up Ecosystem and Unicorns in India, New age Entrepreneurs and current innovations in business.
Day 3: 08.05.2024
Dr. G. Balamurugan, Professor, Department of Management Studies, Anna University, Trichy was the resource speaker. Ms. Priyadharshini of MBA, introduced the chief guest.. In his lecture he elaborated the various policies and schemes of Central and State Government for the development and welfare of Entrepreneurs.
Day 4: 09.05.2024
Dr. S.C. Vetrivel, Professor, Department of Management Studies, Kongu Engineering College was the resource speaker. Ms. Sadhana of MBA, introduced the chief guest. In his lecture he elaborated the Small Scale Industries, and its evolution, characteristics, various objectives, role in Indian Economy, State-wise ranking with real-time examples.
Day 5: 10.05.2024
Dr.R. Mohanapriya, Associate Professor, Department of ECE, Paavai Engineering College was the resource speaker. Ms.Devadharshini of MBA introduced the chief guest. In her lecture, she elucidated regarding innovation, various stages of innovation and its types with several real-time examples, components of Entrepreneurial mind-set, ministry of funding and its various schemes for entrepreneurship development followed in Paavai.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Jeevitha of MBA. Mr. R. Bharath, AP, MBA, Mr.S.Suryakumar, AP, MBA, Mr. V.M. Lingeshwaran of MBA, Ms.V.S. Abirami of MBA, were the coordinators. Faculty members from various institutions were attended the FDP and the sessions were very insightful and informative for all.
