The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organised an online Guest Lecture titled “Innovations and Advancements in Microprocessors and Microcontrollers” on 22.06.2024. It was intended to impart knowledge about Microprocessors and Microcontrollers to students. The welcome address and the resource speaker introduction was given by Ms.K.Meera, Second year/ECE. Mrs.R.Kalaivani M.E., Assistant Professor/ECE, Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Coimbatore was the Resource Speaker.
In her address, She began the session by introducing the basics of microprocessors and microcontrollers. She covered various innovation projects involving microprocessors and microcontrollers during her discussion. She also detailed various advancements related to processors and controllers. The students were able to familiarize themselves with the various applications of Processors and Controllers. She engaged the students with basic simulation processor applications. Around 120 members participated in the online Guest Lecture. Queries were posted and it was clarified by the Resource Speaker.
The session ended with a Vote of Thanks by Ms.T.Safrin safana, II Year, ECE. Mr.A.Saravanan Assistant Professor ,ECE and Mrs.R.Bhuvaneshwari Assistant Professor, ECE organised the event. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Professor and Head, ECE, also attended the lecture along with faculty members of ECE.
