The Center for Global Affairs at Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), Pachal, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India, explores opportunities for collaboration with international universities and institutes for mutually beneficial ventures. The Center aims to promote global studies, foster research partnerships, establish MoUs, and invite visiting professors, faculty, and students through exchange programs to enhance globalized learning and research.
A group of 20 students from Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), including 14 undergraduate B.E./B.Tech students and 6 postgraduate students, along with a faculty member, will be visiting AIMST University in Malaysia to participate in a one-month Global Immersion Program, which serves as an internship.
This unique experience provides opportunities for personal growth and cultural immersion, aiding students in developing both academic and professional skills.
During the program, students will collaborate with peers from around the world at AIMST University, gaining the skills necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing global environment. They will also develop the ability to lead change through critical thinking in a cross-cultural context. Additionally, the program fosters the development of skills highly valued in the global workforce, such as cross-cultural sensitivity.
