The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Software Development & Information Management club organized a Program “SPARKLE’24” – Igniting Young Minds on 18.09.2024. The objective of this Session was to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for the new second year students with a focus on cutting-edge research and hands-on experience to equip the students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of computer science.
The welcome address was given by R.Gobinisha, III Year/CSE. The presidential address was given by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. He encouraged students to develop innovative ideas, deepen their domain knowledge, and create new products while working on projects. He urged students to think critically, challenge conventional wisdom, and collaborate with peers to generate creative solutions. The principal’s speech served as a powerful reminder of the potential for innovation to shape the future. As students embark on their academic journeys, they are encouraged to adopt a mind-set of curiosity, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Mr.Harishankher Selvaraj, Technical Solution Consultant, Seattle, GUVI Geeks Network Pvt. Ltd, IIT – M Research Park, Chennai, delivered an inspiring speech to students and emphasized the importance of mastering essential skills like Excel and conducting SWOT analyses to stay ahead in today’s competitive job market. He emphasized the value of hands-on experience and practical learning.
He encouraged students to seek out internships, projects, and research opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge. The guest speaker’s speech provided valuable insights and motivation for students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits. By developing essential skills, conducting strategic planning, and gaining practical experience, students can better prepare themselves for a successful career.
