The Department of B.E. CSE (AI and ML), Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), organized a Guest Lecture on “HEART RATE MONITORING SYSTEM USING NON-CONTACT FACE VIDEOS” on March 15, 2025.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. Libin Rajan A., a third-year student from the CSE (AI and ML) department. Dr. P. Srinivasan, Head of the Department of AI and ML, extended his heartfelt felicitations and highlighted the significance of such sessions in enriching students’ knowledge.
The introduction of the Chief Guest was eloquently presented by Mr. Anish Klinton P., a third-year student from CSE (AI and ML), followed by the session handover to the Guest Speaker, Dr. M. Sahaya Sheela.
Dr. Sahaya Sheela began the session by sharing his journey of becoming an Assistant Professor through continuous learning and adaptation in the evolving teaching fraternity. The session was highly interactive and informative, igniting a spark in students to think outside the box.
He emphasized the importance of essential skills for engineers and discussed career opportunities in their field, encouraging students to seize opportunities smartly.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nehaa Vairavel, a second-year student from CSE (AI and ML), who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants for making the session a great success.
