The EduSkills Industry Centre of Excellence at Paavai Engineering College successfully organized a three-day Tech Camp on Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud Security from 21st April to 23rd April 2025. The camp aimed to provide students and faculty members with deep insights into the latest advancements in cloud security and the Zero Trust model, a revolutionary approach to safeguarding enterprise networks.
Mr. Sai Venkat, Lead Technical Trainer at Zscaler, Inc., served as the esteemed resource person for the event. With his extensive industry experience and technical expertise, Mr. Venkat guided the participants through key concepts such as secure internet access, application access without VPN, user and application-level policy enforcement, and real-world deployment strategies of the Zero Trust architecture.
The sessions were highly interactive and included hands-on demonstrations, use-case discussions, and practical guidance on integrating Zscaler solutions into enterprise environments. A total of 69 students attended the camp, gaining valuable knowledge in cloud security and the Zero Trust architecture, equipping them with industry-relevant skills.
Ms. Kamala Krishnamurthy, Head of the Paavai Innovation Forum, graced the valedictory session and presented a memento to Mr. Sai Venkat as a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution and engaging sessions.
The event was a great success, strengthening the collaboration between Paavai Engineering College, EduSkills, and Zscaler, and reaffirming their commitment to empowering students with cutting-edge technology skills.
