The CII IWN Campus to Career Programme organized an inspiring session on “From Idea to Impact: Turning Concepts into Validated Business Models” on 14th October 2025 at Kalam’s Chamber, Paavai Engineering College. The objective of the programme was to guide students in transforming innovative ideas into viable and validated business models through structured entrepreneurial learning. The event began with a prayer song rendered by K. Poojasri and B.T. Nithyashree of III Year CSE, creating a serene and positive atmosphere. The welcome address was delivered by R. Gopinisha, IV Year CSE, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
The vision and mission of Paavai Institutions were presented by R. Harini, IV Year CSE, highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence among students. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, who emphasized the importance of nurturing creative thinking, validating business ideas, and transforming them into impactful ventures that address real-world problems. Following this, F. Delphinaa, IV Year CSE, introduced the guest speakers, setting the stage for an enriching session.
The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Sheela, Director – Horad, and Convener – Campus to Career, IWN Salem, who inspired the audience with her insights on the entrepreneurial journey, the importance of perseverance, and the need for innovation in today’s competitive world. A special session on “Idea to Impact” was conducted by Mr. R. A. Dhanush, Founder and Serial Entrepreneur, Driving Innovation in Startups, Erode. During the session, he shared his rich entrepreneurial journey and real-life experiences in building and scaling startups. He emphasized the importance of identifying real-world problems, validating ideas through market research, and developing innovative solutions that create measurable impact. Mr. Dhanush also discussed key aspects of entrepreneurship such as risk-taking, team building, product development, and customer validation. His insightful guidance helped students understand how innovative ideas can be systematically transformed into sustainable and successful business models. The interactive session inspired participants to think creatively, embrace challenges, and pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations with confidence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Rajashree, II Year CSE, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, dignitaries, and participants for their support and active involvement in making the event successful. Overall, the programme was highly informative and motivating, providing valuable insights into the process of innovation, validation, and entrepreneurship. It served as a platform to inspire students to think creatively and transform their ideas into impactful realities.
