The Department of Cyber Security organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Data Analytics Made Simple: Accuracy, Insight and Result” on 23rd October 2025 at Kalam’s Chamber.
The session commenced with a prayer song rendered by Ms. Swetha M. C., Second Year, Cyber Security, and Ms. Prathikhsha S., Third Year, Cyber Security, which created a positive and welcoming atmosphere for the event.
The session began with a welcome address delivered by Mr. Jaya Prakash S., Second Year, Cyber Security, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of the event.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, who emphasized that data analytics serves as a key driver for informed decision-making and technological innovation.
Following this, Ms. R. Brundha, Second Year, Cyber Security, introduced the Resource Person, Mr. Jaya Suriya G., Founder and CEO, Cybernaut EdTech Pvt. Ltd., Karur, acknowledging his expertise in data analytics and technological solutions.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. Jaya Suriya G., who explained how data analytics plays a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. He introduced students to essential data analytics concepts and demonstrated how accuracy in data collection and processing enhances the quality of insights and results. He also highlighted popular tools and analytical frameworks used in modern industries.
Mr. Jaya Suriya G. discussed several real-world applications of data analytics, illustrating how organizations leverage data to improve decision-making, enhance customer experience, and strengthen operational efficiency. He emphasized the importance of developing analytical skills to become industry-ready professionals in the digital era.
He also provided practical demonstrations related to data visualization, insight generation, and the workflow followed in analytical projects. Students gained exposure to how data is processed, cleaned, analyzed, and presented to address real-time business challenges.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and asking insightful questions to deepen their understanding of analytical models and data-driven solutions.
