The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), successfully conducted an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Career Guidance” on 5th January 2026. The programme was delivered by Mr. Amaljith C. K., quality assurance executive Engineer, MicroLab Ltd., Bangalore, who shared his professional insights with the students.
In his address, Mr. Amaljith C. K. highlighted the significance of proper career planning and explained how it plays a vital role in achieving long-term professional goals. He stressed that having clarity in career objectives helps students stay focused and confident in decision-making. The programme concluded with a lively interaction session, during which students raised questions related to career opportunities and professional growth, which were clearly addressed by the speaker. The lecture proved to be informative and motivational, creating a positive impact among the participants.
A total of 50 students attended and benefited from the programme. The guest lecture was organized under the leadership of Dr. G. Balaji, Professor and Head of the Department, and coordinated by Mr. T. Nandagopal. The event began with a welcome address by Mr. D. Gokuldas, III Year EEE, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. K. Gopika, III Year EEE.
