Paavai Institutions celebrated the 75th Independence Day at Kalpana Chawla Open Theatre on 15.08.2022with a huge gathering of 5000. The celebration was graced with the presence of Chairman, Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Correspondent, Smt. MangaiNatrajan, Directors, Deans, Principals of all colleges,and Heads of various departments, faculty members and students. Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan Chairman, hoisted the national flag, initiated the event which enthused the gathering with national fervor and parades took place by the students of Paavai Institutions.
In the presidential address, he conveyed his Independence Day wishes to all and mentioned that we must always remember the struggles and sacrifices of our martyrs and strive hard to make the nation flourish and united in the future. He highlighted that it is the obligation of the students to uphold our rich culture and legacy. He also added that to achieve this, students of the nation must put in their best efforts with strong mentality to face any hurdles thrown along the way to success. As the students work, it is also the duty of the educational institutions to support and act as a safe haven for our young innovative minds. He insisted to respect and follow our democratic principles with a strong belief in truth, honesty, determination, responsibility and duty. Teachers who are regarded as gurus should also inculcate social responsibility with patriotism apart from academic responsibility. Prize distribution for various events, the initiatives of Nation Building Projects for the forthcoming days by Paavai Institutions along with CII-Young Indians, Salem Chapter were also a part of the celebration.
