A two day workshop was organized by the Department of Management Studies, Paavai Engineering College on 26.12.2018 & 27.12.2018 on the Titles “ACHIEVING SUCCESS THROUGH EMPOWERMENT” for PG (MBA and MCA Scholars) and STUDENT TO ADULT LEARNER: A TRANSFORMATION for UG Engineering Students) in Cute Hall at 10 a.m. The function started with the prayer song. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his Presidential address, he motivated the students to surrender themselves to the work they have been committed. The Principal honored the chief guest with the memento and shawl.The session was handled by, Prof Dr.K.S.Gupta, Director, KSG Center for Quality Minds, Bangalore. On day 1 workshop, Dr.Gupta discussed the significance of empowerment, dominant negative mind program and success stories of different personalities. Dr.Gupta conducted many rapport building exercises and case studies during the session. He also shared his life time experiences in professional and personal life. He insisted the importance of Self-Empowerment. This workshop further helped the students to understand about empowering self and others. On Day2 workshop, Dr.Gupta discussed the importance of relationship, transformational change from student to adult learner and human mind programming. Dr.Gupta conducted ice breaking and rapport building exercises. At the end of the session, Students of Paavai Engineering college and other institutions were enlightened with valuable thoughts. The students had good interaction with Dr.Gupta and it helps them to enrich their skills to make their personal and professional life successful. The Faculty members of MBA department and the students of MBA and MCA interactively participated in the session and it ends with valediction and vote of thanks.
