A workshop was organized by the department of ECE, Paavai Engineering College on the topic “Home Appliances Synchronization with IoT” from 04.02.2020 to 05.02.2020.The function started with the prayer song. Ms.Keerthana, Second Year ECE, welcomed the gathering. Ms.R.Abinaya, Third Year ECE, introduced the Chief Guest. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Admin, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of this session and motivated the student to be enthusiastic to learn more from the speaker. The session was carried over by the guest speaker Mrs.Vimaladevi, HR, Caliber Embedded Technologies in which she explained about product Development Company and also discussed about how the workshop will be handled for two days. She said that there are plenty of opportunities for the engineering graduates both at the corporate end and at other domains. She told the students that they should be passionate towards their goal and contribute to all activities that are held at department and college level. Finally the session ended with the motivated speech to the students to make use of these opportunities and to acquire skills from the resource persons by Mrs.M.Sudha HoD, ECE.
