The Department of ECE organized a guest lecture on the title Telecommunication – Software Development Perspective. The session was inaugurated at 10:00 a.m. by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal- Paavai Engineering College with the presence of Head of the Department-ECE, Faculty members and the participants.
The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Mr.Anbarasu Shanmugam, Project Consultant, Capgemini Technology Services India limited, Bangalore in which he expressed his sincere gratitude to Paavai Engineering College for their support. He expressed his experiences in Paavai a a student which gave him the confidence to face the real world outside the campus. The session was carried over by the speaker on the title Telecommunication – Software Development Perspective, in which he gave a brief about the evolution of networks and detailed about the OSS RC. He elaborated the two major systems of Operational Support System Radio Core- Network Management System and Elemental Management System. He gave clear idea on the Security Management handling in networks which included about billing in Business Support System. He also listed some companies that are large producers of network components to the service providers especially, Erricson whose customers are Airtel and Vodafone. Mr.Anbarasu Shanmugam and the participants had a good discussion about the current trends in the core engineering and software industries. He also shared his work experiences in WIPRO, CTS and its allied companies in Turkey, Australia, etc. He suggested his fellow juniors to focus on the core engineering oppurtunities. Alumnus Mr.Anbarasu Shamugam, also met Correspondent madam to have a brief discussion about his experience in Paavai. He discussed about his journey in Paavai which has molded and sculpted him to this position as he is now. He showered his gratitude for their high end support during his graduation. He expressed his happiness about his success because of Paavai as it has given him more values and virtues. His educational journey started in paavai from 2006-2010 and as a resource person in coming back to Paavai as a guest speaker. He also said that the only thing which helped throughout his successful career was the confidence that he had taken from Paavai. He expressed his gratitude to Correspondent madam for her constant encouragement and morality which has made him to reach great heights in his life. He rendered his heartfelt thanks to the Management, Head of the Department-ECE and the Faculty members. Ms.P.Durga, third year ECE, Paavai Engineering College, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest was introduced by Ms.R.Abinaya, third year ECE, Paavai Engineering College. The session ended around 12:30 with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms.M.Jesima Yasmeen, third year ECE, Paavai Engineering College.
