A One Day Webinar on “Aircraft Design and Analysis – An Industrial Perspective” was organized by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering in Association with Aeromodelling Club and ASSC Student Chapter on 29/04/2022 between 7.00 PM To 08.00 PM. Mr.P.Hari Rathinavel, Senior Manager, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore was the Guest Speaker. The Director Administration, Dr.K.K.Ramasamy and the Principal Dr.M.Premkumar supported and guided for the conduct of the program. The webinar was convened by Professor & Head of the Department, Dr.R.Arravind, Co-ordinated by Assistant Professor Mr.K.Gokulnath .The Welcome address and chief guest introduction was delivered by Ms.R.Deepika Sri, student of IV Year Aeronautical Engineering. Faculty members and students of actively participated in the webinar.
Mr.P.Hari Rathinavel elaborated on the concepts and practices involved in the aircraft design and analysis with an emphasis on the industrial standards. He also explained to the students, the procedures involved in the design phase of an airplane’s manufacturing. In the end of the session, he answered the questions of the participants.
All the participated faculty members and students found the program very useful. At the end, Mr.M.Vetrivelan of Third year Aeronautical Engineering delivered the Vote of Thanks.
