The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics organized an Industry guest lecture program on the title of “Biomedical Instrumentation and Its Application”. The session was inaugurated at 1.30 p.m. by Dr.M.PremKumar Principal, in the presence of Head of the department, faculty members and the participants from departments of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics. In his Presidential Address, the Principal highlighted the importance of the latest technology. The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Mr.Anbarasan, Assistant Manager, Harvey Bio medicals. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the College for their support. He expressed his experience to a student which gave him confidence to face the interviews in outside the campus. The session was carried over on the title “Biomedical Instrumentation and Its Application”. He shared the information about the importance of the medical engineering students in the companies worldwide. He told the student to Pay attention, give the speaker your undivided attention and acknowledge the message. Then he noted the various instruments used in the various hospital and its working function. Next he moved to the analytical skill about the company instruments. The encouragement was given to all the students to participate in all the trainings in companies. He gave the positive motivation to all the students to work at with a positive vibration. He rendered his heartfelt thanks to the Management, Head of the Department and the faculty members of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics. Ms.N.Kavushika, second year Biomedical Engineering, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest introduction was performed by Ms.santra Eliziabath, second year Biomedical Engineering. Master of ceremony was organized by Ms.K.Vaishnavi Biomedical Engineering. The session ended around 4:30 p.m. with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.M.Harish Deva, second year Medical Electronics.
