A one day Industry Expert Webinar on the title “EPC Project Management” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai Engineering College on 17.12.2021. Ms. S.U.Sushmaa, Final year student welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his presidential address on this event, he elaborated about various opportunities in Civil Engineering for the betterment of students.
Our Department Association “PAAVAI CIVIL ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION” and Department student’s club “CONSTRUCTORS CLUB” have been inaugurated by Our Principal Dr.M.Premkumar and Chief guest Er.A.Varudharaju B.E., M.B.A (Senior Engineer). Dean Academics and Vice President of Our Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) Dr.K.Sundaramurthy, conveyed his wishes for the inauguration of Our Department Association and Student’s club.
Mrs.K.Sharmila devi, Head of the Department introduced the speaker and gave an overview about the Project Management. Er.A.Varudharaju B.E., M.B.A (Senior Engineer) Geotechnical Danway EME L.L.C – Dubai, United Arab Emirates was the guest speaker. He explained about the various International project details in the aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Construction. The speaker gave brief explanation about the functions of EPC in turnkey projects. Faculty members and students have actively participated in the one day webinar and queries from the students were effectively replied by the speaker. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.R.Surya, Third year student and our one day Industry Expert webinar was successfully concluded. The session was very interactive and knowledgeable.
