The Department of Computer Science and Engineering Organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on the title “Data Science” in association with the alumni association cell-PEC on 20.10.2021 by 12.00 P.M through the Microsoft Teams Platform. Mr.A.Sathish, Lead Data Scientist, Straive, Chennai was the alumni guest speaker. The session was presided over by the Principal Dr.M.Premkumar and the presidential address was given by him. The welcome address was given by Cherub Ebenezer, third year CSE. The guest speaker started the session by telling the future of AI, Machine Learning and Deep learning. He further explained the role of a data scientist in various companies and scope of getting highest paid job as a data scientist. Finally, there was a Question-Answer Session and the students were very interactive and shared positive feedback. The session ended at 1.00 P.M with the vote of thanks proposed by Dharnishraja, third year CSE.
