The department of Information Technology organized a Guest lecture on ‘Current Trends in IT’ on 16.02.2019 at cute hall. The function started with silent prayer for the Indian army men who sacrificed their life and followed by prayer song. The welcome address was proposed by Roshini, II year IT. The Principal, Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of this session and made the student enthusiastic to learn more from the guest speaker. The chief guest started his session by saying about the importance of HR like recruitment, compensation management, performance appraisal, learning and development and industrial relation. He insisted that the students should know about the company and the field they work. He also said that knowledge about the competitors focus on resource and tracking information in a systematic way is the must. He explained about various trends in HRM, dynamic changes in education, smart work and ultimate software development. The session ended up with doubts and questions by our students and the alumni solved their doubts. Ambrishnath, II year IT proposed the vote of thanks.
