The department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College has organized a one day Webinar on the topic “Infrastructure As Service Demonstration Using Open nebula” on 11th September, 2021. Ms.M.Sneha, Final Year B.Tech/IT has welcomed the gathering. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Institutions., delivered his presidential address on the occasion. He addressed that the students should utilize the webinar in an effective way to upgrade their knowledge. The Chief guest Dr.P.karthikeyan, Associate Professor, Jain Deemed to be University, Bangalore, gave brief introduction about the Cloud Computing. He spoke elaborately about the Open nebula platform. He demonstrated how to install and configure Open nebula and how to add, configure and setting authorization to the nodes. Faculty members and students actively participated in the program. The queries from the students and faculty members were effectively responded by the chief guest. Nearly 160 students were benefited from this program. Then the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.K.Paveena, III/ IT. The session was very informative and interesting.
