The departments of MCA and MBA jointly organized a guest lecture on “Develop Modern Web Application using HTML5 and ASP.Net” on 29th September 2018. Mr.M.Vignesh, Senior Software Developer, Capgemini Technology Services India Limited, Chennai, was the chief guest for the function. The function started on a divine note with the prayer song. Ms. S.Rajpriya of Second Year MCA welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr. M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. Dr.M.Premkumar, in his presidential address, insisted that the students should listen what happened around the world in their respective areas. He emphasized the students to improve the communication skills and learn the latest technology with pleasure to fulfill the Industry expectation. Finally, he advised the students to utilize the opportunities properly around them. The chief guest, Mr.M.Vignesh, in his keynote address, instructed the students to improve their self confidence and have faith on themselves to achieve their goals. He gave detailed information about Client Side Scripting, Server Side Scripting, HTML5, CSS-3 (Cascading Style Sheet), Java Script, Type Script, Angular, ASP.Net, Node.js, React and Vue.js. Then, he narrated the Web application Development Concepts, Types of Web applications, Process of Web Development and Environment Setup for web application programs on Visual studio IDE (Integrated Development Environment) environment lively. The session was highly interactive and the queries of the students were clearly clarified by the guest. The outcome of the guest lecture is that the students are able to understand the web development concepts and can develop web applications with the latest web technology. Earlier, Introduction of the chief guest was given by Ms.B.Brinda, Second year MCA. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.S.Shreedhar, Second year MCA. Heads of various departments, Professors, and Assistant Professors participated in the guest lecture programme and made it a grand success. Students from MCA and MBA departments actively participated with full zeal and were benefitted by this programme.
