To make the students well-furnished in the language, English Club conducted a contest on ‘Spelling Bee’ in the additional block room no; 007 on 07.12.2022. Fro the first year students. Nearly 49 students participated in this competition. The competition had three rounds. In the first round, the students were filtered by writing the spelling on the paper. 17 students got selected for the second round and they were asked to spell the spelling for the words like ‘Consistent, Entrepreneur, Chronicles, Questionnaire and Surveillance. For the third round, 5 students got selected and among them, P. M. Ananya from the Department of Food Technology bagged the first prize. The second prize was bagged by B. Meghasurya from the Department of CSE. The third prize was bagged by P Jeevitha from the Department of IT. Students involved themselves very eagerly in this competition. This competition was organized by the coordinators of V Rogan Antony & S Anusuyadevi from English department.
