Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institutions Innovation Council organized a one day Guest Lecture on “Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility” at Cute Hall by 10.30 a.m. The function started with the prayer song. Selvi.N.Dharshana, Third Year Chemical, Paavai Engineering College welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal,Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he insisted the students to utilize such guest lecture to improve their skills on entrepreneurship and he highlighted the importance of the entrepreneurship. The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Dr.Shyam Prasad Rajasekaran, Founder & CEO – TwirlTact Technology, Coimbatore. The guest started the session with his life lessons and struggles in becoming a successful entrepreneur. He motivated the students and explained about the market study, product development phases, government fund schemes, the importance of hiring an industry mentor and social responsibility in running a business. He gave different hints of business and his activities of NGOs. The students were inspired and happy to attend the session. He rendered his heartfelt thanks to the Management, Director-Admin, Principal, EDC and faculty members of PEC for conducting the guest lecture. The session ended around 12:30 p.m. with the vote of thanks proposed by Selvi.N.Sangeetha, Third Year Chemical, Paavai Engineering College.
