Google Cloud is a suite of public cloud computing services offered by Google. The platform includes a range of hosted services for compute, storage and application development that run on Google hardware. Google Cloud services can be accessed by software developers, cloud administrators and other enterprise IT professionals over the public internet or through a dedicated network connection.
Cloud Study Jam is a month long group study sessions. Cloud study jam in Paavai has completed 4 online training sessions successfully. Students who have enrolled for 30 days of Google cloud program are eligible to complete labs and learn along with GDSC Paavai Google Cloud Program.
Session 1 : Introductory session about Google cloud program was handled by Mr.Muthukumaravel, Paavai Google facilitator on 16/11/2022.All trainees were instructed about the agenda and details of the study jam was discussed.
Session 2 : In the second session held on 25/11/2022 was about skillboost platform Qwiklabs access, which provides the students additional free access after the completion of first series of labs.Th methodology to complete lab was demonstrated step by step to the trainees.
Session 3 : Third session took place on 03/12/22 was about Cloud Technology in general, GCP Overview and to access GCP,IaaS (Compute Engine) , PaaS (App Engine) , FaaS (Cloud Functions) and CaaS (GKE) compute offerings on GCPGCP was detailed by our facilitator for the hands on experience to execute labs.
Session 4 : Fourth session was the conclusion phase of Paavai Cloud study jam on 09/12/22, we’ve discussed about the Microsoft Azure technology in cloud SQl ,the overview of all the 8 labs topics.At the end students raised many questions regarding the labs and quizzes after every path. We also briefed about the certificates from Google community after the successful completion of all the labs.
