The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) had organized an online guest lecture on “INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS” on 10th October 2020. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor ECE gave the welcome note. Ms.Supraja from Third year ECE introduced the Chief Guest Dr.D.Rukmani Devi, Professor,ECE,R.M.D Engineering College. In her lecture, she gave an introduction about Microprocessor and Microcontroller and the differences between the two. She also highlighted the importance of Embedded Systems and explained the various industrial applications such as Digital camera, Digital wall clock, washing machines and other applications. She also elucidated about Industrial automation and the operations involved in it such as the Integrated Network Smart transducer and Direct Torque control. In addition, she also explained the real time pose estimation for different applications. She also clarified various queries posted by the students at the end of the session.
