17.06.2022 | Afternoon | We started the inauguration of the Special Camp at 3 p.m. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal, was the chief guest and he addressed the NSS volunteers. He shared his experience when he was in the NSS as a programme officer. He discussed the various services that can be done by the NSS volunteers. He appreciated the students for joining the NSS scheme and encouraged them to involve themselves in the similar social service practices. Felicitations were given by Mrs.Rajeswari Murugesan, President, Thathaiyangarpatti and Mrs.P.Maheswari, Head Mistress, Primary School, Thathaiyangarpatti.
After inaugural function, we had group discussion with the public as well as with the Panchayat President Mrs.Rajeswari Murugesan about the activities of the camp. |
18.06.2022 | Forenoon | We whitewashed the school kitchen walls and repainted the Government middle school walls at Thathaiyangarpatti. |
Afternoon | A seminar on The Role of Youth in Modern India was given by Dr.M.Sathish Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Paavai Engineering College. The students and the public participated in the seminar. | |

Forenoon |
We conducted Covid-19 awareness rally to prevent Covid-19. We gave the awareness about the usage of Face Mask, Frequent hand wash and social distancing. The rally also stressed the importance of vaccination. |
Afternoon | A seminar on the title National Service Scheme and its Importance was given by Mr.C.Rathnakumar, NSS Programme Officer, Paavai Engineering College. The students were benefited. | |
20.06.2022 | Forenoon | We cleaned the Thathaiyangarpatti village streets and school campus and Samuthaya Kudam, Thathaiyangarpatti.
A free Eye Checkup camp was conducted by the doctors of Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Namakkal and their team members. More than 100 persons were benefitted by this activity. |
Afternoon | A seminar on Kavalan SOS App Importance was given by Dr.K.Selvi, Dean Academics, Paavai Engineering College. The students and the public participated. | |
21.06.2022 | Forenoon | We planted the saplings around the school premises, streets and the ponds. We also planted saplings at every house.
We conducted various competitions to the school students like Drawing, Essay writing, Musical Chair, Dancing and Singing to encourage their talents. |
Afternoon | A seminar on One Student – One Tree was given by Dr.V.Subburam, Professor, Department of Mechanical, Paavai Engineering College. The students and the public were benefited. | |
22.06.2022 | Forenoon | We planted the saplings around the village administrative office.
A free Medical camp was conducted by the doctors of Pudhuchattram and Vinaiteerthapuram Government Hospitals and their team members. More than 100 persons were benefitted by this camp. |
Afternoon | A seminar on the title Greenhouse Forming and Its Employment was given by Dr.V.Manivannan, Assistant Professor, Chemistry, Thiruvalluvar Government Arts and Science College, Rasipuram. The students and the public were benefited. | |
23.06.2022 | Forenoon | A seminar on Blood Donation and Organ Donation was given by Mr.C.Loganathan, Audio-Visual Head, Paavai Educational Institutions. The students and the public were benefited. |
Afternoon | Valedictory function for the camp was organized by 3’o clock in the evening The function was presided over by Dr. K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Educational Institutions. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, in his presidential address, stressed the students to add the additional values apart from the study. The Report of the special camp was presented by Mr.C.Rathnakumar, NSS Programme officer, Paavai Engineering College. Felicitations were given by Mrs.Rajeswari Murugesan, President, Thathaiyangarpatti, Mr.M.Shanmugasundaram, Teacher, Middle School, Thathaiyangarpatti and Mr.T.R.Ganesan, Ex. Principal, Thiruvalluvar Government Arts and Science College, Rasipuram. Prizes were given to the school children who won the competition like Essay writing, Oratorical, Singing, Drawing etc. Finally Dr.D.R.P.Rajarathnam, Head, Department of Mechatronics, Paavai Engineering College proposed the vote of thanks. |
