Paavai Engineering College and Yi Yuva Student Chaupal joinly organized an orientation programme on 30.07.2019. In this Connection, the program focused on building a Nation with the effective contribution of Youths in India.
Mr. Ajay L. Rajpal (Chair. Yi-Salem Chapter & Managing Partner Lachhman Investments) welcomed the gathering. Mr. K.K.Ramasamy (Director Administration, Paavai Institutions) felicitated the programme and gave a brief note on the importance of Orientation Programme. An inspiration video played on the great personalities those who came out with flying colours in the short span of life.Mr. J.Sakthivel (Chair Yi-Yuva & Chief technical officer, Sambandam Spinning Mills) introduced chief guest Mr. Dhilip Krishnan, who is acting regional chair, SR TN, Young Indians & Director Born to Win Learning Services.
The Lecture of Mr. Dhilip Krishnan began with the famous saying of Mahatma Gandhi “Be the Change, What you want to see in the World”. The Lecture focused on the important aspects of Yi-Yuva and reminded the Youths that Yi is the only organisation founded by an Indian and works for the development of Indian Society. He insisted the Youths Yi-Yuva aims on the active participation of students.He pointed out the major pillars of Yi, included Nation building, Youth leadership and Thought leadership. It also focused on the Child Abuses, Road Safety, Gifting an Organ and Rural initiatives. His lectures mainly concentrated on planting awareness on the land of Youths Mind.
The Programme ended with the Vote of Thanks of Mr. J.Sakthivel, Chair, Yi- Yuva.
