Paavai Engineering College in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-PEC) organized “Smart India Hackathon 2022 (SIH-2022)” – Internal Hackathon on 30th March 2022 at Kalam’s Chamber. The function started with a prayer song. Mr.ArunPrakasam, CEO Extromind Technologies, Tiruchengode, was the Chief Guest. The Principal, Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his address, he motivated young minds to come up with new technological and innovative ideas. He also insisted students to come up with their own start-ups to pursue their goals.
Followed with it, 30 batches of student teams from various departments participated in SIH-2022(Internal Hackathon) to deliver their project details in front of the Jury and panel of experts. The morning session commenced from 10.30a.m. to 1.00p.m. and it was very interactive, students exhibited their talents and explained their project ideas under various sub themes and innovation categories. The session continued in the afternoon session from 2.00p.m. to 4.30p.m. The Jury and panel of experts gave their valuable suggestions for the students to build up their concepts. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Rajesh ASP/IT. Finally, it was very good learning experience .The valuable suggestions helped the students to understand the various social problems on par with industrial standards. Around 10 batches out of the 30 batches were shortlisted for the next level.
